If dividends are declared by your Company, Optio will handle the cash payment or reinvestment accordingly for eligible participants. Dividend type will be arranged as per the Company requirements. Please refer to FAQ or My Documents in the Optio portal for specific information.

1. Dividend Announcement & Payment Batches
- First, the company will announce a dividend payment. We will then process the payments in batches.
- You will receive an email notification from Optio Incentives asking you to add or verify your bank account details in the portal by a specific deadline to be included in the first payment batch.
- If you miss the first deadline, you can still add your details to be included in a subsequent weekly payment batch.
2. Processing and Timelines
- Once we initiate the payment, it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to arrive in your account.
- This 10-day period is an estimate for international transfers, and the exact timing can vary depending on your bank's internal processing procedures.
3. Common Causes for Delays Most delays happen for a few common reasons:
- Incorrect Bank Details: The most frequent cause for a delayed payment is incorrect bank information. This can include an invalid IBAN, an incorrect SWIFT code, or other errors. If a payment fails, we will be notified and will reach out to you to provide the correct details. The payment will then be re-issued.
- Missing Information: Sometimes, additional information is required for specific countries, such as an Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) for transfers to India. We cannot process the payment until this information is provided.
- Internal Processing: After you submit your details, we perform validation and routine checks before the payment is sent. This can sometimes cause a short delay.
What should I do if I haven't received my dividend?
Check how your shares are held: First, confirm how your dividend is being paid. If your shares are held in a personal VPS account, the dividend is typically paid directly to the bank account linked to your VPS, not by Optio. Check your company plan documents if you are unsure.
Check your bank details: Log in to the Optio portal and ensure your bank account information is complete and correct.
- Wait for the 10-day window: Please allow at least 10 working days from the date we confirmed the payment was sent.
