When submitting a share transfer request in the Participant Portal, it is important that your personal brokerage account details are entered correctly. These details ensure that your shares can be transferred to your personal shareholding account without delay.
Share Account Number / Depot Number
This is the account number of your personal share depository account for where you are sending your shares to. You can obtain this number directly from your bank or broker. If your shares are held in Optio's nominee account, the term "Nominee" might be displayed as a placeholder. To update this, you must first remove both "Nominee" and "Optio" from the fields. Then, you can enter your personal share account number and bank name.
Bank / Provider
Enter the name of the bank or financial institution that holds your share account. This is the institution that will receive the shares.
Clearing Code
This is the code your bank uses for share transfers. Depending on the country, this could be a SWIFT/BIC, VPS, CREST, or Euroclear code. If you are unsure, contact your bank’s settlements or corporate actions department to confirm which code to use.
Contact Information (Bank / Provider)
Provide the name and email of your bank’s contact person or settlements department. This information helps our settlements team communicate directly with your bank if any clarification is needed during the transfer. An email is required for audit purposes so this can be tracked via written correspondance. Your transfer request will not be actioned without an email provided.
Other Information (Bank / Provider)
This field can be used for additional details or instructions, such as reference numbers, internal notes, or transfer-related remarks. Some banks may also require you to specify that the transfer is from a nominee to your personal account.
